Berea Baptist Church provides a Sunday School class for everyone.

Children's Sunday School Classes

• Nursery: Ages Newborn-1
  Nursery is provided for Sunday School and Worship Service. A minimum of two adults watch and attend to our little ones.


• Preschool: Age 2
  The children are taught a biblical lesson and complete a craft that accompanies the lesson.


• Preschool: Ages 3-4
  Children are taught a biblical lesson and complete a craft that accompanies the lesson using Group's Hands on Bible Curriculum.


• Kindergarten: Age 5+
  Children are taught a biblical lesson and complete a craft that accompanies the lesson using Group's Hands on Bible Curriculum.


• Elementary: Grades 1-2
  Biblical lesson and scripture passage are read and studied each Sunday, and the children complete artwork and participate in various classroom activities to strengthen their understanding of Jesus Christ and Church traditions.


• Elementary: Grades 3-4
  Biblical lesson and scripture passage are read and studied each Sunday. The children have scripture verses to memorize each week that coincide with the Bible lesson for the week.


• Elementary: Grades 5-6
  Biblical lesson and scripture passage are read and studied each Sunday. The children are strongly encouraged to memorize scripture each week to enhance their learning and understanding of the Bible.


• Youth: Grades 7-8
  The youth have an in depth study of scripture passages. They are encouraged to ask questions about the scripture passage and how they can apply it to their lives. Discussion is centered around Jesus and how they can be effective witnesses among their peers.


• Youth: Grades 9-12
  The high school students are using a DVD resource called Life Together, a Bible-focused study on living healthy and balanced lives. Their first 6-week study is STARTING to Go Where God Wants You to Be.



Adult Sunday School Classes

• Adult: Young Believers
  The Young Believers class is open to all Christians, whether “young” or simply young at heart! The class is composed of mostly twenty to thirty somethings, singles and couples, with children and without, who exhibit a desire to come together weekly for Christian fellowship, strengthen our relationships with God and each other, and learn more about God’s purposes for our life through studying His word. The Young Believers Class is very active in the ministry of Berea. In addition to undertaking an annual Christmas mission project and smaller outreach projects as the need arises, the class also organizes Berea’s Vacation Bible School (VBS) Program. The class is currently studying how God has used both common/obscure and prominent/heroic figures to carry out His work in the world, using Max Lucado’s text Cast of Characters.


• Adult: Joyful Believers
  The class uses a weekly study guide providing lively and thought provoking discussion on the study of God's Word. Currently they are studying how Christianity compares to other faiths. Comprised of couples and singles of all ages.


• Adult: Faith Riders
  The class is currently walking through the Book of Genesis. Comprised of ladies of all ages.


• Adult: Young Men
  The class is currently walking through various books of the Bible and uses Christian current events for discussion and teaching. Comprised of men ages 30-50+.


• Adult: Ladies I
  The class uses the Formations quarterly material and supports many missions groups within the Church. Comprised of ladies ages 50+.


• Adult: Men's I
  The class uses the Formations quarterly material and supports many missions. Comprised of men ages 50+.


• Adult: Fellowship Class
  The class uses the Formations quarterly study guide and provides wisdom and guidance for all areas of our Church.


• Adult: Book and Bible Class
  The class chooses different books and/or studies to go through during the year. They are currently studying Beth Moore's The Patriarchs. The class is open to everyone.
  
  
• Adult: Friends with a Mission
  This is a class open to everyone that is currently studying the Formations quarterly material. It meets during normal Sunday School hours as well as 6:00pm on Sunday evenings.
  
  
• Adult: Storying the Bible Class
  This class is open to everyone and is learning how to share the major themes in the Bible in a story format.
